Just read a glowing post from Habitat for Humanity South Australia on Facebook
It was great to have the team from Habitat for Humanity Melbourne University visit and see there smiling faces each day.
There post was “Our thanks to Adelaide Mini Buses for transporting our volunteers who are here from Habitat for Humanity Melbourne University to work in the Sampson Flat bushfire recovery and on our build in Davoren Park”
You can see it “here”
It’s always a pleasure to help those that are helping the less fortunate.
Sunday – The weather was a bit cold and blowy but it didn’t stop this lovely group of ladies who are ex WRAN members, having a great day out with Adelaide Mini Buses
The first stop was morning tea at Pioneer Memorial Gardens in Hahndorf with a hot cuppa and homemade cakes yum. Then off to Monarto where they joined in a bus tour around the park. Lunch was enjoyed at the Great Eastern Hotel in Littlehampton and then for the trip home. Thank you ladies for using our service once again for your annual reunion. We look forward to being a part of your next adventure.
It was cold and sometimes wet but David and his friends seemed to enjoy themselves. After loading “ALL” their eskys it was a quick trip to Bird in Hand winery for a taste and morning tea. From there we popped across the way to Nepenthe and more tasting and eating a photo taking were in order(still trying to work out whether my “selfie” worked or not). Someone then decided to drive across to Hahndorf with everyone in tow(it’s a driver thing!). After a long lunch the group headed to Pike and Joyce for some more coffee and cake, oh and some wine tasting too! Then it was time to wander home and work on the night!
Well it was a great day in the Adelaide Hills wine region! Julie and her friends chose Adelaide Mini Bus for their transport provider on the day in The Adelaide Hills. First stop was Nepenthe Wines. After lengthy visit with the cellar door team it was off to Shaw and Smith. A restful visit lead to a quick trip into The Hahndorf Inn for lunch. Following a delicious lunch it was off to Bird in Hand for a relaxing final visit before the long trip home through chaotic peak hour traffic.
After a leisurely start to the day and a quick trip South, Meagan and her visitors jumped right into the tastings at Paxton Wines enjoying the bi-dynamic results of David and the teams efforts leading to past vintages. After a quick retail indulgence it was off to sample some of Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards marvelous wares. More was added to the collection and then off to Coriole for something to eat and some more tasting. Meanwhile Wayne(our resident cellar rat) was of spending his hard earned pasos on wine at Rosemount’s Annual Easter Sale(again) After a delicious lunch and some tasty sample it was on to Samuel Gorge. Upon arrival it was obvious what time of the year it was. That’s right . . . . new vintage release weekend. Well a lovely time was spent there and the new releases were getting the “thumbs up” as were Justin and the team at cellar door. A last minute stop at Paxton Wines for some more additions to the cellar and it was a quick hop home to end the day.
We at Adelaide Mini Bus thank Meagan and her friends for choosing us and hope they will join us again for another “wander through the vineyards”.
Hens day to McLaren Vale for Emma and her friends.
Emma organised the day for her friend who is soon to be married, and they had a great day out in the McLaren Vale region visiting Paxtons, Parri Estate Alpha Box & Dice and Maximus. Thank you Emma for using our service, we hope you had a memorable day with Adelaide Mini Bus and Sue your driver.
Leaving Campbelltown and then on to Henley Beach before the long ride to “Our Place”.
The vehicle was a buzz with Conversation about the “birthday boy’s” present haul. After a while the conversation drifted toward the show and lunch they were attending as part of The Adelaide Fringe 2015.
After a long lunch and comedic show everyone emerged from the event smiling and commenting favourably about the food, the venue and the show. So having had very pleased clients on-board we must give thanks to Andy and the crew for a great day out at Our Place @ Willunga Hill
Darren and his mates have flown to Adelaide from Hobart to test the golf courses we have in this great state. They have an annual golf trip every March long week end which they have done for the past 10 years, and while here they will be going to the Adelaide Cup. They have played Kooyonga, Lady Bay and Glenelg.
We have been pleased to transfer them to the various courses while here, and they have been a great group. Thank you guys for using our service.
