Terms and Conditions of hire for Adelaide Mini Bus, Adelaide Star Bus Company and Vin’s Buses.
To Hire a Coach or Mini Bus, the following conditions must be agree to, read and understood:
Confirmation must be in writing to secure vehicle booking.
Quotation is valid for 30 days, after which time may need to be reviewed.
A 20% deposit must be forwarded within 7 days of confirmation.
Final balance is due within 3 working days of departure, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed upon.
Final Itinerary must be confirmed within 3 days of departure.
Any Changes to the original requirements may incur additional fees.
Departure times must be adhered to or a late fee of $55-00 for lateness per 30 minutes or part thereof will be charged.
The Bus can only carry the licensed number of passengers stipulated.
The Coach Driver is in charge on the day and any instructions must be followed.
All Passengers are required to act in a cordial manner.
A bond of $200 to $500 may be incurred on some hire. This bond is refunded at our absolute discretion 3 days after the event, pending positive feedback from our driver and venue staff and the condition of the bus on arrival back to the depot.
Abide by all reasonable requests that the driver may ask fellow passengers and yourself. Any illegal activities will result in immediate termination of the hire.
All passengers will be advised that regular SAFE stops will be made at the discretion of the driver. Under no circumstances is the driver to be harassed into making stops that he deems to be unsafe.
Due to Government regulations the following is not allowed-smoking on the bus/persons allowing any object including body parts to be outside of the bus confines/seat belts (if fitted) must be worn.
The Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as at the start of hire and any damage (accidental or otherwise), additional clean up or unnecessary rubbish will incur additional fees and costs.
At the completion of the journey the driver will drop passengers off at the original pickup point or prearranged point. We will be more than happy to drop of en route on main roads back to the drop of point. Note additional drop offs can be arranged at a nominal cost with the driver and will be up to the drivers discretion if he can accommodate any additional drop offs.
When attending licensed premises no food or drink is to be taken off the bus. Also when leaving the premises no glasses or souvenirs to be brought back onto the bus. We have an excellent working relationship with the premises we attend and it is most important that this continues. Failure to behave in a proper and civil manner will result in termination of hire.
Last but not least it is most important that you have an enjoyable trip and we return you home safe and happy. The above rules are there for everyone’s well-being.

No liquor can be consumed on the bus without an approved liquor license which requires the approval of Adelaide Star Bus Pty Ltd in writing. If required, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary approval. Approval needs to be obtained 14 day prior to the departure date. The consumption of red wine and the use of glass is not permitted on any vehicle.

Confirming your booking in writing also confirms your agreement with these conditions.
